In Mandar Screw Barrel pump or Mandar Screw Barrel drum pump, a multi-spiral metallic screw (rotor) rotates in a stator made of an elastic material. Mandar Screw Barrel pump is available with Food grade Stator for the food and pharmaceutical industry. Various types of stators are used in the Mandar Screw Barrel pump such as Viton, High Nitrile, EPDM, Neoprene.
Due to their geometry, two pumping chambers closed on the suction and pressure side are formed, which open and close alternately in a continuous sequence. On account of this displacement principle, the fluids are pushed upwards and out of the pump.
